“ Convenient and Comfortable ”

5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 may 2017 on tripadvisor

I picked the Hotel Indigo because of its closeness to Paddington Station, for the Paddington Express and for the tube, It turned out to be more than I expected. The room was small but still easy to move around, the beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom shower was large (walk-in) with a big spray and hot water. It would have been nice to to have had a bar to hold on to, but otherwise it was very good. There is even a towel warmer in the bathroom.

The amenities were nice also - free water and sodas in the room refrigerator, ear plugs, chocolate mints delivered to the door or placed by the pillow on the beds each night, and a newspaper at the door each morning. These added to a more comfortable and relaxing stay. There was also a cell-phone type gadget that you can take with you when leave during the hotel during the day or night - it has internet and other items normally found on cell-phones, and it is available at no cost. You leave it when you check-out. The Nespresso machine in the room is a good addition.

Staff were always friendly and helpful, and other items available add to the benefits of staying at the Indigo - restaurant and gym (although I did not use either.)

The proximity to Paddington Station is a big plus, and there are lots or eating places and shops in the neighborhood. Despite the street noise, the room was quiet.

I picked this hotel because of Paddington, but next time I will stay there because of the comfort and how enjoyable it was. And I feel you get what you pay for.
