Garden Terrace – Art to Celebrate London
Since we opened our Garden Terrace in May we’ve been thinking of ways behind the scenes to make it even more welcoming than when we made it available to the public. Here at Mercure London Hyde Park we’re extremely proud of our heritage and how wonderfully steeped in history our little slice of London is in.
To celebrate this we are in the process of adorning the walls with some amazing artwork that celebrates London, but focuses specifically on our local neighbourhood. Hiring a local street artist we are giving our hotels a slightly more urban feel with a classic Mercure twist. Celebrating our most famous mascot and some handpicked favourite areas of ours this will just be the beginning of the transformation that will be completed over the coming months.
If you’re local to the Paddington area then we encourage you to enjoy a gorgeous meal from our onsite Bella Italia, where tables on our Garden Terrace are available to walk-in or book to eat. Not hungry? Not a problem, we run happy hour on the Terrace from 5 – 7pm every day of the week so come with your family, friends, colleagues and watch as we transform our Terrace into an urban wonder.
