Little Venice and Paddington will be putting on all its bells and whistles for the annual Canal Cavalcade over the early May Bank Holiday weekend this year. Already a stunning part of Paddington and likely to be in full bloom, the pool of Little Venice and canal will be filled with an array of boats, and tradeshow stalls.
Many of the floating homes and their owners make a huge effort to ‘dress up’ to create a visual spectacle and jovial scene.
Visitors can expect activities for all the family with a boaters’ gathering, a pageant of boats, trade shows and stalls, live music, children’s activities, competitions, Morris Dancers, a real ale bar, and a wide variety of snacks and food.
This unique waterway boat gathering is organised by Inland Waterways Association volunteers, and has been taking place at Little Venice since 1983. Admission is Free.
