Needing a room for a night near Paddington Station, and having previously stayed twice at the Hotel Indigo in Liverpool, I booked this hotel for my daughter and I on a Sunday / Monday overnight stay. It really is so very convenient for the mainline station and we were easily able to drop our bags off in our room at check in time of 2.00pm before heading out for an afternoon on the South Bank.
The only slight issue was that I had requested a twin bedded room and we were allocated a double, but as it was only one night and everything else was so lovely it didn't really matter.
The room on the fourth floor was compact but having stayed in another similar sized room in the centre of Nottingham earlier this year, I can definitely say that this experience was greatly superior. The triple glazing made a massive difference in terms of noise elimination and the air conditioning when we needed it worked well. The free soft drinks provided were excellent and very welcome and it was lovely having little luxuries like the Nespresso machine and the bathrobes and slippers to make it feel 'home from home'.
We had a great night's sleep followed by a delicious breakfast in the morning. The waitress who served us was excellent and we both enjoyed Eggs Benedict/Eggs Royale from the menu with mine being prepared gluten free as requested.
We would most certainly return here - a great hotel choice with lovely staff. Well done Hotel Indigo!
