“ Nice touches help this hotel stand out ”

4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 July, 2016 on tripadvisor

In London on business, I couldn't get into my usual hotel so booked in here and was pleasantly surprised. Paddington isn't the most salubrious neighbourhood in London and the location of Hotel Indigo is no exception, it doesn't look much from outside. But the moment I checked in service was excellent and would put smarter hotels to shame. The guy who checked me in couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful.

My room was on the top floor and not that big but it came with more than enough nice touches to make it memorable.

The bed was super comfortable with plenty of plump, new pillows.

The soft drinks in the mini bar were free of charge.

Wi-fi was strong.

There was a Nespresso machine with a choice of coffee.

There was a lot of choice of channels on the TV

There was a night light in the bathroom to stop you bumping around in the night.

All small things maybe, but I've stayed in high end hotels missing these.

Decor was smart and contemporary throughout the hotel. The attached restaurant was nothing special, but the food there was actually very good.

I'll choose this hotel over my other nearby options next time I'm in London for work.
