“ Great location in London when you need access to Heathrow ”

I've stayed at the Indigo Paddington numerous times over the past few years while in London for business.

The location is excellent because you are literally a 3 minute walk to Paddington station where 1) you can catch the Tube to pretty much get anywhere else in London, and 2) the Heathrow Express takes you directly to the LHR terminals (fast, efficiently, and dare I say enjoyable!) It's so close that even with your carry-on or luggage in-tow, it is an easy walk.

During the past two most recent visits, I've noticed the food in the hotel restaurant has improved dramatically. It wasn't necessarily bad food previously, it's just now I do not need to seek out a restaurant, especially after a long trans-Atlantic flight or long day at the Paddington are office. To be clear, the food itself isn't the best I ever ate, but it's very good now. They also have outdoor sidewalk dining which is great when it's mild.

The rooms are a little small, but for a single business traveler, or even a couple there on holiday, the rooms are perfect. The decor is very modern with interesting art on the walls. The nice touches like complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and snacks in the room is also a plus.

Even though it seems like an independent boutique hotel, it is actually part of IHG which is great, because you can earn 'points'.
