“ All work and no play...is a wasted trip to London! ”

This was my first trip to London and Hotel Indigo was recommended by a co-worker who frequently travels to London. It was a tall, narrow hotel neatly tucked into the row of buildings on London Street. It is surrounded by restaurants and little convenience shops. The absolute best part was the proximity to the Paddington Train Station and Underground (The Tube). It was less than 5 minutes to the stations. It was an easy commute to High Wycombe and Reading. I was able to travel around downtown London via The Tube when work was over. I went to Harrod's, Piccadilly Circus and the Tower of London. I was even able to walk to the station when my trip was over and catch an express train to Heathrow.

The hotel itself was very lovely. My room was on the top floor which featured sloped ceilings and low windows which added to the boutique feeling of this establishment. The room was not spacious, but it had everything a single traveler could possibly need. It had a large closet with a little refrigerator, a desk, TV and comfy bed. The bathroom was also very nice with a nice shower and heated towel rack. I also appreciated their effort to go green, they control the electricity in the room with the room key. I may have been naive but I felt very safe in this area while traveling back and forth to the hotel from the train station. The nearby restaurants were also hospitable and accomodating.
