“ A Wonderful Week in London ”

5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 Nov 2014 on Tripadvisor

We spent a languid week at Hotel Indigo Paddington and were constantly surprised at the luxury of the experience and the deep level of personal attention afforded us.

Our room (admittedly small, but come on, this is the heart of London) was appointed with all sorts of elegant touches, like a shower that was reminiscent of a gentle tropical cloudburst and a bed that seduced you into a deep sleep. There's also in-room snacks and soft drinks that, at first blush we didn't think we'd ever sample, but we came to relish them at the odd hours of day and night.

We chose Hotel Indigo because of the rave reviews but we were amazed at the extraordinary level of service.

Juan Manuel and Antonio at the Front Desk assured that we were comfortable in our room and their advice helped us to fully appreciate our time in that most historic city. Also, the hotel's proximity to Paddington Station is a marvelous asset to anyone planning to fully explore London. You're also within easy strolling distance to Hyde Park and Selfridge's, which my sweetie fell in love with.

There are plenty of great restaurants in the neighborhood, but if you choose to stay at Hotel Indigo Paddington, make sure you enjoy at least one meal at the in-house restaurant -- London Street Brasserie. It's loaded with charm and offers a marvelous menu. Bernadette and Alex were especially wonderful servers.

Coming to London is a treat in itself, but staying at Hotel Indigo enhances the experience ten-fold. That's in no small part to this little jewel of a hotel, but it's magnified by its great staff.
